The Benefits of Olive Oil or "how to buy the right olive oil" :

First of all i must open with a little warning ,this article relate only to "organic cold press olive oil" any other type of olive

oils are OK but defiantly not worth your money and time ,you want to have the REAL thing and get a real value for your money

many people un aware that olives DOES suffer from pesticides and other illness specific to the olive tree (in the middle east there is a claim which

says that olive does not sprayed because they dont have any specific illnesses or insects,i checked the issue and its not true)  another HUGE issue

that many people doesnt aware to is that in some country's (specially in the developing country's and specially in those with a chronic lack of water) many olive

plots are waters with "Reclaimed water" (yes yes ,"waste") those water "suppose" to be filtered....well they are but not in the molecular level which means

in case the source of those water is from humans there a pretty good chance you will consume residue of 'birth control pills" or SSRI based pills which those humans consumed

it might be a less problem with crops such as olives but still it's always better to check it before you buy your olive oil,by the way and that's also very interesting point

the organic standard does not relate to the quality of reusable water filtration ,in many country's in europe for example they produce high quality reusable water

which can be safely used in agriculture but in the developed country's\some countrys in the middle east (also wealthy countrys) this is not the case so you must do the work

for yourself and check !

now...no body discuss about those issues ,i think my site is one of the few sites in the whole WWW which discuss about this crazy point ,but in any case here are few

amazing facts about olive oil and its health benefits :

1) olive oild is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs). MUFAs considered a healthy dietary fat, those unsaturated fats (such as MUFAs and polyunsaturated fats) should replace of the problematic "tras fats" and saturated fats in your diet.

2)olive oil might help reduce the creation of "Gall stones" ,but use olive oil in moderation because the high calorie content ,1-2 tea spoons per day 4 times a week might be an OK dosage.

3)store olive oil in dark cool places ,light ,heat and air might affect the health promoting nutrients and in some cases also might effect the taste odor and color of an olive oil.

4) always buy olive oil with stamps in a sealed bottles and from a respectable manufacture ,in the middle east it is quit common to find fake olive oils or olive oils mixed with

other oils ,every country and its internal enforcement mechanisms.

5)olive oil is less recommended for frying food ,it is ok for low temperature frying such as making an omlet but for long deep frying it is not recommended to use because

the fatty acids can become into free radicles in high temperatures because they are very sensitive for oxidation (cold press olive oil is more sensitive to oxidation)
