benefits of Pomegranate and the link to diabetes
As someone who lives in a country blessed with year round sunny days i am a heavy Pomegranate consumer (both organic and "regular")
since i am a heavy consumer i got to read allot during the last 3 years ,the first and main benefit you can achieve is anti ageing since the HUGE amount of
of Ellagic acid the body produce from the Tannin's and Phenols which the skin and the fruits contains ,those ingredients are converting in the body to
antioxidants which helps the body protect itself from the aging process as well many types of cancer and other diseases caused by oxidative stress ,but
the biggest value of the pomegranate is its ability to reduce sugar level and fight diabetes ,there is a new Israeli research claiming that drinking 60 ml
of pomegranate juice per day can dramatically reduce sugar levels ,more info can be found here : http://www.informationaboutdiabetes.com/pomegranate-juice-diabetes-57.html

Its highly recommended to use only organic pomgrante
since the pomegranate fruit is highly sensitive to pesticides many farmers (specially in 3'rd word counters which import some percentage pomegranate to the world market) the focus the farmers use on the international or european standards is low ,because of that in many cases some of the fruits contains high level of pesticides residues ,pesticides are in love with this precious fruit (they probably know what they are doing...) so pomegranate is part of the infamous club of "dangers fruits" such as grapes, lettuce, strawberries and more
